Assignment for Tuesday
Read the following article: Everything you need to know about the Internet
Answer the following questions in a Word Document. Email it to ebrass@shdhs.org by the end of class.
  1. What Percentage of the world's population currently connects to the Internet?
  2. What does the author imply about what the future of the Internet is? (section 1)
  3. In the second section (The Web isn't the Net), the author lists some different uses of the Internet. Using his list and expanding if necessary, what have you used the Internet for?
  4. Is the Internet considered a complex or simple network? What are the two axioms that the developers used when creating how computers communicated over the Internet?
  5. What does working in the "cloud" mean?
  6. What do you think about the statement: "Is Google making up stupid?"
  7. What has happened to intellectual property with the advent of the Internet? How can we stop this, as proposed by the author?
