Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. The PTO at SHDHS works very hard to support our students. We have several annual events and fundraisers that we sponsor. Please help support SHDHS by participating in these events.
- Pampered Chef Fundraiser – August 25 - September 24, 2010
We are asking each family to place a minimum $30 order. Don’t forget that any family who places an order is entered into 2 drawings for a $250 tuition credit.
- Freshmen Parent Reception – September 14, 2010
- SHDHS Craft Fair – October 23, 2010 - 10:00am until 3:00pm - Over 100 booths of handmade items. Bakery and concessions will be available. Admission is $2. Contact SHDHScraftfair@yahoo.com for additional information.
- Catholic Schools Week – January 30 - February 5, 2011
- Teacher Appreciation Week – May 2 - 6, 2011
- Baccalaureate Mass & Reception – May 25, 2011
Please mark the above events on your calendar. Information will be posted on our webpage as the events draw near. Please also make a note of our meeting dates for the upcoming school year. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the faculty lounge.

The PTO is currently looking for new officers and committee members for the 2010-11 school year. Several of our current members have been working on PTO for many years and now have senior students who will be graduating. Please consider joining us. We are a small but mighty group working hard to support YOUR child! If you have any questions, you can contact any of the current members or officers listed below. You can also contact Peggy Myatt by leaving a message in the school office.
Please feel free to contact any of the PTO officers listed below. We invite you to join us, as we are always looking for fresh and new ideas. We have several parents involved with PTO who have seniors this year who will be graduating and we will have several Officer positions to fill for the next school year. Won’t you please consider joining us? We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
The mission of the Saint Henry District High School Parent Teacher Organization is to support the school through volunteer activities, various fundraising and subsidizing certain events. The PTO continues to be an advocate of the administration, faculty, staff, and students with the purpose of strengthening the quality of education provided in an atmosphere of Christian morals and values.
School functions solely funded by the PTO include the Freshmen Parent's Reception and the Senior Reception after the Baccalaureate Mass and Senior Awards. Donations and support are given to the Catholic School's Week, the After Prom, Teacher's Appreciation Week, the Yearbook, and gifts to cafeteria and maintenance staff at the end of the school year to name a few. The PTO also sponsors one student to attend a week at Operation Youth held at Xavier University. The support offered by the PTO varies as the school grows and needs develop.
