Saint Henry District High School is looking for a family to host a student from Korea. She will be attending Saint Henry the entire 2012-13 school year as a Sophomore. She is 15 years old and she loves animals and reading. Her mother describes her as an outgoing people person. STATE CHAMPIONSHIPSThe STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held this Thursday, May 17th at the University of Louisville. The meet will begin at 5:00 p.m. The pole vault will held on Wednesday, May 9th at Dixie Heights High School beginning at 3:30 p.m. Please disregard the date listed on the schedule.

Diocese of Covington ChampionshipsCovington Catholic High School extends an invitation to your school’s varsity track team to compete in the 34th Annual Diocese of Covington Track Championships. The meet will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2012 beginning at 4:00 p.m. All events are finals, and there will be no Pole Vault. Teams will be limited to 2 competitors per individual event and 1 team per relay event.
A team championship trophy and runner-up trophy will be presented to the two top teams. Medals will be awarded to the top three places in each event. Ribbons will be presented to those who finish 4th, 5th and 6th places.
Covington Catholic’s all-weather track necessitates the competitors wear flats or shoes with spikes no longer than 3/16”. Anyone wearing spikes longer than 3/16” will be disqualified from the entire meet.
Points will be awarded on the basis of 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 in all events.

Time: Field Events will start at 4:30
Running Events will start at 5:00pm.
Participation & Entry Limitations:
Each Team can only enter 1 team; 2 individual entries per individual event and 1 relay.
4 Jumps/Throws in SP/DT/LJ/TJ. HJ starting heights: Girls-4’/Boys-5’.
Pole Vault starting heights: Girls-6’/Boys-7’.
All Events will be timed finals running on regular order of events.
Fastest heat will be the first heat.
Type of Meet: This meet is a timed final meet, using the high school order of events.
Timers: Timers will be provided by host team.
Scoring: Scoring through 8 places. Scoring-10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Awards: Medals to 1st thru 3rd place. Ribbons 4th thru 8th.
Top Male/Female Competitor. 1st place and runner-up Male/Female Teams.
Admission: $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Warm up Procedures: The track will be open and available to warm up after 2:45. The track will be closed at the start of the Coach’s/Officials meeting which begins at 4:40pm.

Northern Kentucky JV ChampionshipsCooper High School will be hosting the Northern Kentucky JV Regional Championships on Friday May 4, 2012. Since this is the last week of the regular season we want to give the kids that don’t make your varsity squad one last meet to reach their goals. We would like to extend an invitation to all Northern Kentucky teams wishing to attend. Please notify one of the coaches to secure your teams entry.

Events: Regular order of events. The Pole Vault will not be contested. All heats will be final.
Three athletes per event per school. One relay team per school.
Four max events per athlete.
